God Is In Control
While Noah was building the ark, people laughed and mocked. Comfortable in their sin, they had no fear of God. Evil ran rampant, and the powers of hell celebrated their sin as they believed they were winning.
But the rains began to fall, and the truth was revealed for all to see in that moment. The mocking laughter was silenced. God won, and the enemy was reminded God is in control.
When Jesus was dying on the cross, people laughed and mocked. Comfortable in their sin, they had no fear of God. Evil ran rampant, and the powers of hell once again celebrated as they believed they were winning.
But Jesus rose again, and the truth was revealed for all to see in that moment. The mocking laughter was silenced. God won, and the enemy was reminded God is in control.
Today, people continue to laugh and mock the truth. Comfortable in their sin, they have no fear of God. Evil is running rampant, and the powers of hell are celebrating as they believe they’re winning.
But the same God who delivered Noah from the floods and raised Jesus from the dead is still alive and active today.
As many who have traded the truth of God for a lie realize the truth, their mocking laughter will be silenced. Evil will be defeated, and the truth will be revealed for all to see in that moment. The powers of hell will be ultimately be reminded that God is in control for all eternity.
Those who say they don’t see God working in our world today simply aren’t looking. Evil is working overtime, but God is working in mighty ways. He promised He would never leave us nor forsake us. We are involved in the greatest battle in history, and we can fight boldly as we know the outcome in advance.
However you’re feeling today and whatever the coming days and weeks hold, rest assured God wins. Let’s continue fearless in the battle as we move forward in His strength.
“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness”
Isaiah 41:10
